PMTs serve as valuable ministry asset

Working behind the scenes is oftentimes not what is praised or sought after in our world. Yet, this is exactly what Luke Society Partnership Ministry Teams do as they help their ministry directors advance their vision in difficult areas of the world.

There are 50 active PMT members who pray for, encourage, visit, financially support and walk alongside their ministry director.

This work truly is behind the scenes as they send e-mails and make visits without any fanfare. No one but our Heavenly Father knows about their prayers. Only a small few will know of their financial contributions and sacrifices of time.

PMTs do this work because they long to see people receive quality healthcare and desire for the Gospel message to spread.

They will also tell you they do this work because of the intangible benefits—building a relationship with a medical professional in another country. These relationships inevitably develop into a family that leans on and sharpens one another.

Please pray for the Luke Society PMTs. Pray that the new partnerships will develop strong relationships and be a support for the difficult work happening around the world. Pray that long-term partnerships will stay engaged as they continue encouraging and praying for their ministry partner.
