Chad director has keen eye for needs

MOUNDOU, CHAD— Dr. Frederic Djongali finds ways to get things done. Thirteen years ago he opened a medical clinic and pharmacy to reach the poorer people in his home city of Moundou, Chad. Dr. Frederic provides quality healthcare and tenderly lays out the Gospel message in this heavily Muslim area with unforgiving weather.

His medical clinic has continued to grow over the years and he recently added digital X-ray services.

It seems that every few years Dr. Frederic begins an exciting new branch to his ministry as he finds new ways to reach people with medical care and the love of Jesus. He responded to the lack of local education by starting an elementary school which teaches over 500 students. He noticed a lack of quality nurses, so he began a nursing school which provides trained nurses for many of Chad’s medical clinics, including his own.

Last month Dr. Frederic opened a new satellite medical clinic in the nearby district of Belaba.

Please pray for Dr. Frederic’s satellite clinic as it gets up and running. Pray for the new staff that will begin to provide services at this clinic and for the additional management that Dr. Frederic will need to provide. Pray that this will be a blessing for the patients who no longer need to walk more than three miles to the main clinic. Pray that the love of Jesus may be known as the Gospel is shared through this new expansion.
