Sri Lanka through the lens

Earlier in April, Luke Society Chief Operating Officer Dr. Greg Kuiper made a visit alongside Asia Regional Coordinator Dr. Julius Surjadi to visit Habaraduwa, Sri Lanka and ministry director Dr. Avindra Jayawardene.

It was the first visit to Asia that anyone in the Luke Society has been able to make since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in 2019.

Below is a slideshow of some of the highlights from the visit. One of the noticeable changes is the massive amount of construction work that has been completed on the clinic. Luke Society donors helped to fund a good part of the construction. Dr. Avindra is already using the bottom floor to see patients while construction continues on the rest of the building.
