Luke Society Ghana
The Luke Society Ghana has the distinction of the being the longest tenured and supported Luke Society ministry.
From its humble beginnings more than 35 years ago in a one-room mud hut, the ministry in Kasei has grown into a 30-acre campus and is recognized as one of the premier medical facilities in central Ghana.
St. Luke Hospital provides 24-hour in-patient and out-patient services with a 150-bed capacity. The facility handles health needs from general consultations and maternity to surgeries and specialty care.
The ministry has a second campus in the capital of Accra, where the Emmanuel Eye Medical Centre specializes in eye care services, and is complemented by general medical care.
“The Centre has become one of Ghana’s best and leading eye care facilities, servicing the country's needs,” said second-generation director Dr. Kwami Fobi Oduro-Boateng.
The ministry also puts a strong emphasis on community health, counseling and evangelism.
