Year-end giving information

As the calendar winds down, there’s no easing into the new year at the Luke Society.

The final week of the year is often a busy one at the central office as numerous year-end donations flood in and receipts are sent back out. It’s a constant reminder of how blessed we are to have you as our supporters.

Along with that come a few pieces of housekeeping of which we want you to be aware. To ensure gifts tax-deductible for the calendar year 2022:

• Check donations must be dated and postmarked by Dec. 31, 2022.

• Online donations must be made by 11:59 p.m. in your home time zone on or before Dec. 31, 2022.

• ACH and wire transfers must be sent by Dec. 31, 2022.

• Stocks must be transferred by Dec. 31, 2022.

• Gifts from IRAs must be out of the owner’s account by Dec. 31, 2022.

Our office will be staffed through 4 p.m. CDT on Friday, Dec. 30. Please note that no one will be available to take phone calls for credit card donations on Saturday, Dec. 31. However, you can still give anytime online on Dec. 31.

Again, we offer our most sincere gratitude for your support of the Luke Society. This is truly a team effort to further the Kingdom, and your gifts are a significant piece of that puzzle.
