Small number, but large impact

By Dr. Alexander Schevchenko

I would like tell about one ministry in Yelizavetovka. It was interesting and amazing but very important for people there.

A few years ago Yelizovtoka was a small town with 250 people in a picturesque corner of our region. Now there are only 38 people only. They do not have any medical service in their town and must go to the nearby town.

A young man from this town became a Christian and began to carry ministry for people there with help of one of church.

This church, which is our partner in medical ministry, invited us to provide medical consultations for these people in September. Most of them are old.

We now have improved medical examination with use of and EKG machine and ultrasound diagnostics. Also we provided blood glucose tests to those who needed them. And of cause we testified about our faith in Jesus Christ and prayed for healing and salvation.

We thank God and our Luke Society family for this possibility to minister to people who so need our help in such a difficult place.
