Q&A with the director

Q: What are the important components to your ministry?
A: The important elements of our ministry are to approach of the sick through consultation, surgical operations, the laboratory and soon motherhood, through the Gospel.

Q: What factors led you into a career in ministry work?
A: What prompted us to make a career in this ministry is the proclamation of salvation in Jesus. 

Q: Describe some parts of the culture in the region where you operate your ministry? 
Moundou is located in an area where the population is a mixture of Christianity, Islam and paganism. Culture weighs heavily on this society. Fetishism and sorcery are also present.   

Q: How are you able to witness about Christ in your ministry? 
A: Evangelization through health care. 

Q: What do you enjoy most about working in your position? 
A: What I love most about my work is the testimony and regular conversion of the sick.

Q: What is your vision for the future of your ministry? 
A: The year 2017 has been a year of great blessing for El Jiré Rapha. The biggest project, El Jiré Maternity, has been accepted and realized, although it is not finished.
