Those familiar with the Luke Society family no doubt have heard the name Dr. Apolos Landa. The especially fortunate ones have opportunities to meet him in person or travel with him.

Landa recently retired from the Luke Society after serving more than 30 years as a ministry director and regional coordinator.

Last week, all five regional coordinators, along with the Luke Society staff, board of directors and spouses came to Sioux Falls, S.D., to give Landa and his wife, Pilar, a proper send off into retirement.

The week included board meetings, regional coordinator meetings, speaking engagements at schools and churches, and even a short trip to the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore.

In the accompanying video, Landa gives a final farewell to the people who have supported him, Pilar and the rest of his ministries over the years.
